We and the world in general are all going through a financial crisis, everyone is trying to cut down on what they spend and so I am afraid that the first thing that we acknowledge that we have to cut down on is the amount that we spend on our clothes. And for us women that is quite a hard blow as we always like to wear the new ‘in’ items of clothing which are advertised every year and which give a boost to our moral.
Well all is not lost; even if you are trying to be as frugal as you can you can still look into your old wardrobe at no expense at all to see whether you can re-vamp some of your old items of clothing to make them appear new, different and in fashion.
Old blouses that you have had hanging there for ages can have the sleeves cut away and turned into blouses for the summer. An old white jean skirt that has begun to look yellow and old can be dyed.
